A Sharp Music Method Inc. was founded and established in 1997 by Yvonne Flahive, an energetic and charismatic Australian with over 25 years experience in music instruction and a vision to create the opportunity for students of all ages, creeds, and nationalities to learn an instrument of their choice.

The school offers positive music instruction in most instruments, for all ability levels including piano, keyboards, voice, flute, violin, viola, saxophone, clarinet, guitar, bass and drums for students of all ages. All genres are offered. Lessons are available at many locations including Pasadena, La Crescenta, Glendale, Burbank, Tujunga, Eagle Rock, Montrose, Hollywood and Los Angeles. Lessons are also offered in the home of students in all these areas and more

The teachers of A Sharp Music Method are professionals with a desire to reverse the cultural decline of our society while helping individual students achieve their musical goals. The school boasts 2 concert pianists as well as several teachers who have won musical awards and can prepare students for auditions and competitions.

Annual recitals are held for all instruments and levels during which awards and trophies are given out to students who excel. Promising students are given opportunities to audition with specialists.
