Violin, Viola & Piano Teacher

Originally from Armenia, Mrs. Tigranuhi(Tina) Chapkinyan received her Masters Degree in violin performance at the Komitas Conservatory of Yerevan in 1987.
 
She is an experienced professional musician and violin and piano teacher.
 
In Armenia, Mrs. Chapkinyan held teaching and performing positions in professional music schools, symphony and chamber orchestras.
 
She moved to the United States with her family in 2000 and continues her carrier as a violin instructor and solo performer. Mrs. Chapkinyan is an active member of Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC), Hollywood Branch. Her successful teaching method which she has developed in her twenty-five years of teaching experience is reflected in her current students’ accomplishments.  Many of her students participate in the numerous MTAC recitals and competitions, and play in state-wide conventions.
 
Ms. Chapkinyan teaches at the Altadena Academy of Music located at 2235 N. Lake Ave, #207 Altadena, Ca 91001. 

Cost of Lessons with Tina: 
Weekly 30 minute lessons in the studio  - $110.00 per month
Weekly 45 minute lessons in the studio  - $165.00 per month
Weekly 1 hour lessons in the studio       - $220.00 per month
