Piano
Scott Rowe, accomplished Jazz, classical and contempory pianist and teacher studied privately until 1973 when he attended PCC and studied music theory and jazz improvisation.
Completing that he attended UCSB and studied classical composition and piano performance while at the same time studying jazz improvisation with Nova Studios in Pasadena. To his credit he had the chance to attend and play in workshops directed by such luminaries as Warne Marshe, Gary Foster, Putter Smith and Moacir Santos.
From 1976 to 1982 he studied classical piano privately with Monsieur Mario Feninger. Mario Feninger held frequent Master Classes and recitals that featured Scott regularly. From 1994 to 2002 Scott lived and worked in Rockford Illinois and performed professionally with rock, jazz and classical ensembles. He returned to Los Angeles in 2002 and has been teaching and performing in all idioms.
Scott students will attest to his patience, and skill in teaching and motivating them.
