With her achievement as a credentialed Elementary School Teacher and certified Day Care Provider with 6 years of experience Ms.Aiken adds her musicianship to make a wonderful music teacher.  She is especially effective with young children and of course persons of any age who are young at heart.

Her musical education and background  includes a variety of learning situations from an Italian conservatory through to her graduation from the Faunt School of Creative Music here in LA.

Her performance experience has also spanned a variety of instruments and situations from playing organ, singing with and directing her church choir, directing a musical to fund-raise a local charity group, acting in several theatrical comedies that toured the area and even in a small movie which was projected on the big screen of her hometown in Italy.  As a pianist, she has played at weddings and her signature trend was to play the couple’s favorite pop song during the ceremony.   Later she did lounge singing in a tourist venue in Italy, played keyboards in 2 Italian rock bands, and sung back-up, and sang in restaurants, piano bars and night clubs for 2 years before moving to the US. 

In the year 2000 , she had the honor and privilege of singing as an alto with the World Literacy Crusade Ensemble, directed by the astounding Howard McCrary, artistically known as Howard Mac.  This World Literacy Crusade Ensemble was an interfaith gospel choir which performed with artists like Chaka Khan and Carl Anderson  who just happened to be Ms. Aiken‘s idol from the movie J.C. Superstar, starring as Judah.

She has even performed with the LA jazz vocal ensemble Remember When at the Paseo and other local venues.
