Piano Teacher

Laylac Alatassi began studying the piano at the age of seven, and started teaching some ten years later.
 
Because she has received training in classical piano from teachers in Europe and the United States, including Dr. Mikael Cotchorof, Dr. Vladimir Constantine, Professors Mario Feninger and Ian Brooks, and Dr. Phillip Young she is a competent and sort after teacher.
 
Ms. Alatassi attended the Arabic Conservatory of Music in Allepo, Syria for ten years on a full scholarship and she has also excelled being a prizewinner in several piano competitions.  Her most recent awarded performances were at the Pasadena City College Scholarship Competition and the Old Town Music Competition.
 
In addition to performing recitals in solo capacity, Laylac is an experienced collaborative pianist, having performed with numerous other musicians throughout her career.
 
Ms. Alatassi takes care in her teaching to introduce the needed technical skills of piano and theory while making the lessons enjoyable for her students.
 
Ms. Alatassi offers students’ preparation for recitals and other shows that they might was to participate in.  
 
Ms Alatassi teaches in:
 
ALTADENA at the Altadena Academy of Music,  2235 N. Lake Avenue #207, Altadena Ca 91001  and
TUJUNGA at A Sharp Music Method, Tujunga School of Music, 9915 Commerce Avenue, Tujunga, Ca 91042.

Cost of Lessons with Ms Alatassi:  
 
Weekly 30 minute lessons in the studio          - $110.00 per month
Weekly 45 minute lessons in the studio          - $165.00 per month
Weekly 1 hour lessons in the studio               - $220.00 per month
 
Weekly 1 hour lessons in home                       - $280.00 per month. (Min of 1 hour lessons must be scheduled for in home lessons)
