Dante Pascuzzo

Dante Pascuzzo is a talented young musician who was born and raised in Los Angeles. He began playing music at age 5 and has won numerous awards including Down Beat magazine's "Best jazz soloist," and "Best rock, pop, blues soloist while enrolled at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.

In 1994, at the age of seventeen, Dante recorded an album entitled "Home Grown" with music greats, Peter Erskine, Zakir Hussain, Anand Bennett, Alex Acuna, and Alan Pasqua. Dante is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts jazz program under the instruction of legendary bassist Charlie Haden.

He has performed with various groups in the Los Angeles area including Quetzal, Ozomatli, Son de Madera, and many others. He has performed in Japan, Europe, Switzerland, Israel, and throughout the U.S..

Dante brings his experience and knowledge to his teaching. He teaches all styles from beginning to advanced. He is positive and always brings out the best in his students. His students will tell you what a great experience it is to have lessons with him.
