Dale La Duke

Guitar, Piano, Keyboard, Vocal Coach

Dale La Duke was born in Grosse Pointe Michigan. From a very young age Dale had a keen interest in music and quickly involved himself in every musical activity available.

He began singing in church choirs when he was 8 years old. He was principle soloist and president of his high school choir, as well as a trumpet player in his high school band. He went on to sing with the Michigan State Honors Choir and the Michigan State Fair Choir.

Around this same time he began to teach himself the guitar and the piano and to write songs and play in local bands.
Having a flair for music and the tenets of music and various instruments Dale began teaching shortly after arriving in Los Angeles some years ago.

His personally developed successful combination of lessons that teach students how to play whatever music interests them along with a firm grasp of the fundamentals keep him in demand as a teacher. Also, after many years of unsuccessfully searching for a simple, step-by-step method to teach piano and music theory, he finally wrote his own: "Music Theory for the Theory Challenged".

Dale currently lives and plays music in Los Angeles with the wonderful folk/americana band "Kaedmon" as well as the Beatles tribute band "BEATUNES". Dale makes his living as a songwriter, as well as music teacher at A# Music Method Inc teaching around 40 students. He can be seen and heard at
