Piano Instructor

Cecily Clark is a classically trained pianist and composer from Northern California. She began Suzuki piano lessons when she was four and at twelve wrote her first piano composition. At fifteen she attended CSSSA studying music composition. She attended Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA to study music and graduated with a BA in music composition with a piano emphasis. During her coursework study she was a member of the HSU Calypso Band and composed music for a variety of percussion, wind and string instruments.

While still a college student, Cecily was a piano instructor for the Humboldt Music Academy, as well as for Dreamquest, a youth center located in Willow Creek, CA. After college she worked as a piano sales professional, attending NAMM and Musikmesse where she had the opportunity to play some of the finest pianos in the world. While working in sales she also taught piano at Kline music in Sacramento. Cecily has recorded two albums for voice and piano. She is currently working on her third album and is writing a children's piano book.
One of Cecily's lifelong dreams has been to write, play and teach memorable melody lines so that others can play with confidence and ease. She is a creative and patient piano instructor. She currently lives in Altadena, CA.

Cecily is willing to drive to a student’s home to give lessons.  

Cost of Lessons with Cecily:

Weekly 30 minute lessons in the studio  - $110.00 per month
Weekly 45 minute lessons in the studio - $165.00 per month
Weekly 1 hour lessons in the studio - $220.00 per month

Weekly 1 hour lessons in home - $280.00 per month.
(Min of 1 hour lessons must be scheduled for in home lessons)
